A thankful season...

The thanksgiving season and subsequent holidays are about to begin. All reminding us of things to hold grace in our hearts and give thanks. I put a special holiday video under the GRACE tab by John Lewis called "Empty Chair" The video reminds us in the lyrics that someone will always be missing from our table this year. The pain of remembrance may be sharp or dulled by the years. None the less, holidays remind us to hold the memory of love both past and present in the moment each day and go forward celebrating life for the gift that people are to us and we are as gifts to others in life.

So take a moment and remember during the holidays to pick up the phone, email, Skype, send a greeting to those who are not past from your life and give thanks for memories that have filled your life a little fuller, richer, wiser and given strength when you needed it.
