Hello I'm Brian Welcome to S.T.A.G.
So what is S.T.A.G.?
It's my acronym for Style, Taste , Attitude, Grace four essentials that everyone can be about.
Style
Becoming who we are hopefully is as breathtaking as the purity and wonder that moments in early life formed in our expression. Have you ever met someone who others might call extravagant, over the top, peculiar, unusual , yet these words never are weapons to that person but rather the wardrobe they proudly wear because they are just comfortable in their own skin. Early in life we sometimes think of these behaviors and expressions as embarrassing to us to be around, yet as we come into mid life , we are going into life’s closet and putting on our own wardrobe that is comfortable to us. Style is chosing the best of our nature and wearing it out in the world. Its easy to follow a trend but to step into the world every day as your own person takes style.
Taste
If you have cooked in the kitchen and produced flavors that make history this is memorable. When my life comes to close many many many many years from now…. I want the memories of food, friends, and life to fill all my senses , so I can say
” I tasted life and it was phenomenal!”
Over recent years I have developed a “flare” for cooking, a gift passed down from my parents. I can recall somewhere in history someone – I think the Dali Lama said-
” Cook with reckless abandon”
Food is an incredible experience when it is approached with the all the senses, and shared with others. This page will be filled with thoughts , recipes, places attended where food was key!
Attitude
There can be many powerful things that will stop us every day to ponder the benefit or meaning in life. Attitudes to me are formed in the nature of experiences and how we are able to catalog these perceptions to create value , purpose and meaning in life. Attitudes contribute to choices and benefit us when the road diverges into two paths. To me attitudes are usually beneficial and do not take away from our spirit. Negativity is not an attitude but rather the void of attitude, a black hole that consumes anything that is unproductive and negates life to a definition called existence.
Grace
Grace is the embodiment of how we handle ourselves in all of life’s affairs. Too often some are dealt the challenges that others would see as insufferable but to look closer, they are in the process of grace. I have seen many, many examples of grace in my life. I also know some of my own experiences that are gracefully produced and have molded my spirit for life.
