In a busy day of yard work I had to stop and take notice of this beauty. There is a thing of great beauty when trees surrender their leaves to the coming silence of a winter season. In this same entrance of coming winter, I stopped and saw the most brillant blue on the berries of the cedar tree in our yard. The art is all around in nature giving rise to each season in its grace of renewed promises. This one tree has a "Giving Tree" nature for its sparing use as a decoration during the season. The smells of fresh cedar and pine during Christmas liven up the house to remind us that both past and present spirits reside with us.
